For the first time ever, ladies took first place in all four of the main classes at the Thwaites on Sunday. A Class was won by LInda Smallbone (Eastbourne RC) with a score of 593, B Class by Sue Thomas (Carlisle) with a score of 577, C Class by Elaine Kettle (East Grinstead TSC) with a score of 557, and D Class by Julie Humphries (Eastbourne) with a score of 517.
In addition, Linda Smallbone took best card of the day for both the Ladies and Veterans competitions with a perfect score of 200. Russell French (Chichester) took best card of the day for Gentlemen with a score of 199. The gentlemen have some ground to make up if they want to put in a good show next year.
