That's it. The world is your oyster!

The Club is here to promote sport shooting. We are happy whether you just want to plink away at a few practice targets, or if you want to develop all the way to international standard. We'll support your shooting career as best we can.

Once you become a full member you:
- Can book anytime on any range.
- Only Range Conducting Officer (RCO) supervision required.
- Continual practice / improvement of your shooting skills assisted by coaches as required.
- Can shoot outside at 50m & 100yd
    - Ask for briefing on the outdoor range procedures before your first session.
    - Setting up the outdoor range
        - Location of target shed key
        - Putting out red flags (3 of them)
        - Putting out wind flags (varies between 0 and 17 depending on who puts them out and prevailing wind conditions!)
        - Target frames
        - Target clips (you'll need at least 12). Club has some you can borrow to get you started.
        - FP allocation (no detail board) you'll need to agree with others who are using the outdoor range.
        - Brass collection: Pick it up and put it in the bins provided. DO NOT push it forward of the firing point.
        - recycling bins (brass, card, and ammo plastic boxes)
        - rubbish bins.
    - clearing up the outdoor range
        - reverse of above.
- Sign up for competitions
    - Ask. There are quite a few competitions on offer. Number of cards to be shot per round and duration of shooting periods is variable. You can sign up for as many or few competiitions as you like.
- Purchasing your own kit (see separate page).
- Assisting with running the club. We are a member's club run by members for members. The more volunteers we get the less we each have to do:
    - Volunteers always wanted. Training will be provided and paid for by the club.
        - General assistance. Duty Officer usually delegates some tasks!
        - Any of the tasks listed on Committee and Others page
        - Range Conducting Officer (RCO)
        - Duty Officer
        - Club Instructor (as much a benefit to you as it is to the club)
            - Prone
            - Air gun
        - Club Coach (as much a benefit to you as it is to the club. Even more so than Club Instructor!)
    - General Maintenance
        - target frame maintenance
        - target holder maintenance
        - bullet catcher maintenance:
             - .22 indoor (steel)
             - .22 outdoor (plastic and batten)
